Meet Dr. Molly Camelo
Dr. Molly’s path to becoming a chiropractor started with her own personal experience with a back injury that held her back from being able to enjoy her favorite sports, lacrosse and volleyball! Chiropractic care helped eliminate her pain, restore her mobility and get her back on the field. That early support sparked a lasting interest in helping others heal and overcome personal health challenges in the same way she did.
Blending Neuroscience with Natural Care
Originally from just outside Boston Massachusetts, Dr. Molly turned her love for sports into a career path and earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of New England in Maine. After that, she relocated to Texas to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, where she also completed a master’s degree in Clinical Neuroscience. That added knowledge strengthens her approach to wellness, especially at Restoring Life Chiropractic, where brain-based chiropractic care is a central focus.
A Focus on Pediatric and Family Care
When Dr. Molly was searching for a practice to call home, she was intentional about choosing a clinic and team that has the most in depth clinical experience specializing in chiropractic care for pregnant moms and children. Dr. Molly was very excited to have the opportunity to train under some of the most well known and experienced Chiropractors in DFW, Dr. Eric and Dr. Lauren Alvarado. With their extensive training in complex Pediatric and Prenatal cases, she knew she would get an extraordinary clinical experience that would set her up to serve at the highest level of neuroligcally focused care that she wants to achieve.
She’s currently working toward her Webster Certification and plans to complete training through The Pediatric Experience (PX) to deepen her ability to serve young patients and growing families.
I like the bond that we get to form with patients from the first time that they walk in the door. I love to see the amazing transformations that happen in their health and in their life. Being able to develop long lasting relationships with patients and help them through all the different stages of their life is my favorite part.
Creating Transformational Experiences
Whether working with adults or children, Dr. Molly sees communication as key. One of her most meaningful moments was adjusting a 2-year-old whose parents had some concerns about how she reached for toys. The adjustment made such an impact not only on the child’s development but also on her father. His gratitude really made an impression on her heart and stuck with her. These moments remind her why she chose this field—to listen carefully, support families, and watch patients, big and small, have life changing breakthroughs in their health!
Life Beyond the Office Walls
Outside of serving her community through chiropractic care, Dr. Molly enjoys staying active, hiking with her boyfriend Dylan and their Red Heeler mix, Russell, or relaxing with a good fiction novel. Her favorite downtime activity? Exploring local walking trails and dog-friendly breweries around Arlington.
